Qusay focuses on corporate and commercial matters with extensive experience in company registration procedures and regulatory compliance before the Iraqi Companies Registration Department and other governmental authorities.
His experience includes advising local and international clients on company incorporation and post-incorporation procedures, including the establishment of Iraqi limited liability companies, sole proprietorship companies, mixed companies, and registration of foreign company branches in Iraq.
Qusay regularly assists clients with a broad range of corporate matters, including corporate restructuring, share transfers, appointment and replacement of authorized directors and branch managers, amendment of company activities, capital increases, company name changes, corporate record maintenance, and issuance of corporate confirmations and official verifications before government authorities.
He also advises on regulatory and operational matters relating to branch establishment across Iraq, transfer of company and branch headquarters, registration and reservation of IQ domains and postal boxes, filing beneficial ownership declarations, appointment of legal consultants and certified accountants, opening and maintaining regulatory records, and compliance with ongoing corporate obligations.
In addition, Qusay has experience managing company liquidation procedures for Iraqi and foreign entities, including preparation of liquidation applications and resolutions, coordination with governmental authorities, publication requirements, deregistration procedures, and obtaining final closure and strike-off approvals.
His practice is focused on delivering practical and efficient legal solutions that support clients in establishing, operating, restructuring, and exiting business operations in Iraq.
